Our Why
In 2019, WePlay2, LLP was founded by two golf fanatics, Raquel and Leslie. As lady golfers who frequented various golf clubs throughout Chicago, the two quickly realized the lack of golf accommodations often preferred by the lady golfer.
From isolated holes sometimes deep in the woods on the back nine, to random male players who regularly infringe on lady players with unsolicited playing advice, to the male-fashion-dominated golf shops, Raquel and Leslie believed it was time to create a golfer’s community specifically with the lady golfer in mind (newsflash, we play too!).

We have been playing this sport for almost 5 years and work toward improving our game every year.
We play as much as our time and weather permits and have played many courses in the Chicagoland area, nationally and internationally.
We are passionate about improving the inclusion of lady golfers of color at both private and public courses.
